From July 18th to 19th, we were honored to be invited to the Kelvin 2025 Educational Toy Expo held in Taichung, which was a highly rewarding event. Through this expo, we gained a deep understanding of the latest wooden educational toys, which will greatly enrich our thematic teaching and learning area setups.
At the expo, we first visited the display of early childhood educational toys, featuring renowned brands from Europe such as Hape, Miniland, Kapla, and Masterkidz. Additionally, there were high-quality brands from Taiwan like Playme and Weplay. These toys are not only safe and reliable, having passed stringent safety tests, but also made from eco-friendly natural wood, greatly fostering children’s development.
Wooden building blocks and similar toys not only enhance children’s creativity and hand-eye coordination but also promote their social skills and problem-solving abilities. This visit provided us with great inspiration, especially for the upcoming setup of the learning areas at Emeans Preschool, offering valuable references for layout and toy selection.
We are very grateful to the enthusiastic invitation and careful guidance of Mr. Lin, the MD of the Taichung Little Soldiers Early Childhood Education, who demonstrated how to effectively use these educational toys. We hope that this learning and observation experience will bring more inspiration and assistance to the setup of the learning areas at Emeans Preschool, further enhancing our teaching quality and the children’s learning experience.
Conclusion
This educational toy expo was not only a platform for display and learning but also an excellent opportunity to spark innovation and interaction. We look forward to integrating these new toys and concepts into our teaching, to provide a richer and more effective learning environment for the children.
